I was recently a guest on Chilean podcast Otaku no Shouzou with friend of the podcast Dave Merrill to talk about what being an anime fan was like before the 2000s! The podcast is usually en Español, but for this, they did the entire podcast in English! It was a lot of fun, and I learned a lot about what the otaku scene was like for folks in South America.
